Jerwood Moving Image Awards
The exhibition presented exciting talent from the digital arts to a new audience and was part of the Jerwood Visual Arts Programme shown at the Jerwood Space, London.
A brief to provide eight video artist with a displays isolated from one another, led to this visually striking installation. Two ominous black cubes appear to float in space, they are suspended from the ceiling on tension cables. Plasma screens sunk into the stretched black fabric extend the frame to beyond the field of view.
